New York Thomas Y. Crowell 1893 Hard Cover Good No Jacket Fiction
Book in good condition for its age. Very clean inside and out. Strong binding, nothing missing. Pages show very light time tanning. Gilt topedge showing some discoloration. Covers in good condition, 3/4 cloth with embossed gilt desings on front and back. Brown leather spine showing moderate time, use, and shelf wear. Heavy rubbing on spine ends and corners.

Fair. Pencilled inscription front paste down: "Angeline Walsh Oct.-9-1900 to Mae E. Walsh" Pencilled on free endpage: "May E. Walsh. Evalyn Walsh." Small hole on spine, beautiful but very worn, some soiling, green decorative full cloth cover (irises &art nouveau dec.) w/ dark green, white & gilt detailing. Natural splits at joints & pretext page. Glue marks on front endpage. B/W frontispiece (dancer). Decorative title page, green image w/orange lettering. Some more B/W plates inside. A few dog-eared pages. Fore edge has some glue residue/damage. No markings on any inside pages, but some tears on some inside pages. This book includes 8 anti-slavery poems.
