Good! 1869. First Edition! Full dark purple binding. Edges show some rubbing. Gilt lettering on a very sunned spine, bumping on head and tail, small tear on top of spine. Tiny tears on corners of cover. Dark brown paste down and endpages still in pretty great condition. Small soil spot on first pages that bled through, otherwise pages are very slightly tanned and clean. Binding still tight in spots, one natural split in center, missing pages 97-112. but very strong. Owner's name penciled in: LGA Fautreaux. Stylized beautiful embossed stamp: Lorings Circulating Library. Stamped border in cover.
