Squared corners, lipstick smudge on back board. Special brown papers--pastedowns and endpages. Top edge small brown spots, fore edge, dust stains. Inside pages creamy and clean, no markings except for gift inscription on pretext page. 26 listed illustrations. Select bibliography, notes on sources. D/J sm. tear on top front corner, slight scuffs, sm. tear on bottom front, wrinkling at spine head, rubbing at back joint & edge & front edge. Small spots on back, minor.
